Prayer is vital to our spiritual life in Christ.  I have been convicted through a recent study with my small group to ramp up my prayer life to make it more intentional and meaningful.  Christ gave us an example of how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13.  It's sort of like a template outlining these 5 sections:  Adoration, Consecration, Supplication, Intercession, and Protection.  Within these parts, we can have the liberty of personalizing our ta

Daystar Bible Institute is in full swing with Church history.  Mondays begin with class time at 10:30 AM and lunch orders because right after class the Hospitality Team (led by Donna Terwilliger) outshines themselves with lunch orders specific to each request.  It's so much fun to listen to the buzzing conversations in the cafe which, by the way, has been beautifully decorated by our Creation Station Team (led by Michele Garwood).

Journey graduation from the class Faith and Finances is next Tuesday, June 21.  I'm very proud of the 16 class participants who have put in the time, attention, and effort over the 12-week session.  They will receive a well-deserved 2-week break with our next class, Affirming Potential, to begin on July 12, at 6:00.

We are very happy to serve with Love INC as the host church for these transformative classes.  If you have an interest in serving wit

I hope you enjoyed this past weekend.  Here in Florida, the weather has been exceptional for picnics, swimming, and barbeques.  But, I hope that you spent some time reflecting on the sacrifices of the men and women to whom we owe so much.   A couple of my friends went to Bushnell to join hundreds of other veterans in placing flags on Florida's National Cemetery on Sunday.  With very strong emotions, they described the experience of personally add

It brings great joy to God when we point others to Christ as the way of salvation.  And it doesn't end there.   We have been redeemed for a purpose, and that is to become more like Christ.  We call this progressive sanctification.  If we are not moving forward, we move backward.  It's incredibly difficult to stay stationary.

If you have made a decision to accept Christ as your way to heaven, then you should also have a desire to follow Him.  Thi

We are so thankful for our children's workers.  Jesus said, "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent me."

Where will the next generation be without learning the truth of God and His Word?

We have Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, and Tuesday evening opportunities to build truth into any young ones who are drawn here.

Please pray for the new generations growin

What a beautiful weekend we had as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Good Friday proved to be a reflective and moving time of prayer on the prayer path, and the celebration with friends new and old was uplifting.

Be watching for new small groups to form, and check out opportunities to serve in the bulletin.
